Terms of Service
The terms that govern this website and the estimates we provide through it.
Effective date: September 12, 2026
Last updated: September 12, 2026
These terms apply to your use of ironhaulco.com, operated by IronHaul Co. LLC (“IronHaul,” “we,” “us”), and to quotes and estimates requested through it. By using this site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Work we actually perform for you is governed by the written estimate, proposal, or contract you sign for that job. Where these terms and a signed agreement disagree, the signed agreement controls.
What This Website Is
This site describes the services IronHaul offers, the areas we serve, and roughly what work of that kind costs. It is marketing material and general information. It is not an offer, a bid, or a contract, and nothing on it obligates us to perform work at any particular price.
Quotes, Estimates, and Pricing
- Prices shown on this site are ranges and examples. They reflect typical jobs in our service area and are not a quote for your property.
- Instant quote figures are preliminary. The instant quote tool gives you a ballpark from the details and photos you provide. It is not binding on either of us.
- A binding price comes from a written estimate issued after we have seen the site, or reviewed enough detail to price it accurately.
- Written estimates are valid for 30 days unless the estimate itself says otherwise.
- Conditions we could not see can change the price. Buried debris, rock, utilities, unstable ground, and standing water are common surprises in excavation and grading work. If we find something that changes the scope, we stop and talk to you before continuing. We do not add charges you have not agreed to.
Requesting Work
Submitting a form on this site is a request for an estimate. It does not schedule work and does not obligate either of us. Work is scheduled once you accept a written estimate.
When you submit a request, you confirm that you own the property or are authorized to arrange work on it, and that the details you have given us are accurate. If you are not the owner, we may ask for the owner’s authorization before we start.
Scheduling, Weather, and Site Conditions
Ground conditions govern this kind of work. Rain, frost, saturated soil, and equipment availability can move a scheduled date. We will tell you as early as we can when a date has to move, and we will reschedule at the first workable opportunity.
Before we arrive, you are responsible for:
- Marking or telling us about anything buried that a locate service will not flag – private water, electric, gas, irrigation, septic lines, drain fields, and invisible fencing
- Providing reasonable access to the work area for trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Moving vehicles, pets, and personal property out of the work area
Virginia law requires notification to VA811 before excavation, and we handle that for the work we perform. VA811 marks public utilities only. It does not mark private lines on your property, and we are not responsible for damage to unmarked private lines we were not told about.
Licensing, Insurance, and Scope
IronHaul is insured for the work we perform. We do not perform electrical, plumbing, structural, or other trade work requiring a license we do not hold, and we will tell you plainly when a job needs a trade we do not cover. IronHaul Property Services is a division of IronHaul Co. LLC, not a separate legal entity. Services are subject to scope, availability, site conditions, insurance, and applicable licensing.
Photos of Completed Work
We photograph our work. We may use photos of completed jobs in our portfolio, on this site, and in advertising. Photos show the work, not identifying details of your property, and we do not publish addresses. If you would rather we did not photograph your job, tell us and we will not.
Payment
Payment terms are set in your written estimate, including any deposit. We do not take payment through this website, and we will never ask for payment card or bank details through a web form or an email.
Reviews and Third-Party Listings
Ratings and reviews shown on this site are pulled from third-party platforms such as Thumbtack and Google. They are the words of the people who wrote them. We do not edit them, and we cannot guarantee that what is displayed matches the platform in real time.
Website Content and Accuracy
We try to keep this site accurate, but service descriptions, coverage areas, pricing guidance, and availability change. We make no warranty that the content is complete, current, or error free, and we may change it at any time without notice.
All text, photographs, logos, and design on this site belong to IronHaul Co. LLC. You may not copy, republish, or reuse them commercially without our written permission.
Links to Other Sites
Where we link to another site, we do it because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or how they handle your information.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent Virginia law allows, IronHaul is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website, or from reliance on pricing guidance published on it. This section limits liability for the website. It does not limit our responsibility for work we actually perform, which is covered by your signed agreement and by our insurance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute arising from them belongs in the state or federal courts serving Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Changes to These Terms
